Undetectable.io With a Day Pass Mobile Proxy: Setup Guide

Undetectable.io is a browser that keeps each profile in its own box: its own cookies, its own fingerprint, its own proxy. Pair one of those boxes with a carrier line from our menu and the profile looks like a phone user in the city you picked. The whole pairing takes about as long as reading this introduction. Below is the exact sequence we use when a customer asks us to walk them through it, from buying the day to the first clean check.

Before you open the browser

Buy the line first so you have the login in front of you. From the locations page pick a city and a carrier, choose 4G or 5G, and take the day pass at $4 or $5. When the payment clears, the dashboard shows a host, a port, a username and a password. Keep that tab open; you will paste from it twice.

Decide now whether the profile should be sticky or rotating. For account work in Undetectable.io the answer is almost always sticky: a profile that changes address every few minutes looks stranger than one that keeps the same carrier address for hours, exactly like a phone that has been sitting on the same tower. You can still rotate by hand from the dashboard when you start a different task in the same profile.

Step by step: adding the line to a profile

The labels below are from the current desktop release; if a newer version moves something, the fields are the same four values and a type selector.

  • Open Undetectable.io and create a new profile, or open the profile you want to attach the line to.
  • In the profile settings find the proxy section and choose a type. SOCKS5 is the safer pick for Undetectable.io because it also carries any WebRTC and UDP traffic the browser emits; HTTP works just as well for plain page loads.
  • Paste the host into the address field and the port into the port field. Then paste the username and the password into the authentication fields. Do not put the username in the host field with an at sign; Undetectable.io wants them separately.
  • Press the check button next to the proxy fields. It should come back with a carrier address and the city or state you ordered. If it shows a different metro, see the troubleshooting section below before you go further.
  • Let Undetectable.io set the time zone, language and geolocation from the proxy. That is the default and it is correct: a Houston line should produce a Central time zone and a Houston-area coordinate, and the browser works that out from the address.
  • Pick a fingerprint that fits a phone user if the task is mobile-first, or a desktop fingerprint if the account was created on a laptop. Consistency with the account's past matters more than the device type itself.
  • Save the profile and launch it. Load a what-is-my-IP page as the first tab and confirm the address, the carrier name and the metro once more inside the real browser.

Rotating without breaking the profile

A day pass comes with unlimited rotation and no waiting period between rotations, but rotation inside a live profile should be deliberate. The clean way is to finish the task, close the profile, rotate from the dashboard or by calling the rotation link, then reopen the profile. The cookies and the fingerprint stay the same; only the carrier address changes, which is what happens to a real phone that moved between towers.

If you run several profiles on separate lines, give each its own line rather than sharing one. Two profiles on one carrier address at the same time is not wrong, since thousands of real subscribers share that address, but it means a rotation for one profile also rotates the other. Separate lines cost $4 each and keep the profiles independent.

For scripted rotation, put the rotation link on a timer in your own tooling and leave Undetectable.io out of it. Rotate between sessions, not during a checkout or a form submission.

Troubleshooting the three things that go wrong

The check fails outright. Nine times out of ten this is a typo in the port or a password copied with a trailing space. Paste each value again from the dashboard. If it still fails, test the same login with curl from a terminal; if curl works and Undetectable.io does not, switch the proxy type from HTTP to SOCKS5 or back.

The check passes but shows a neighbor city. Carrier pools are regional, and a few geolocation databases read an address as the nearest big metro. The one consistent case on our menu is Boston on AT&T, which reads as New York; use Verizon there. Anywhere else, rotate once and check again, and if it persists move the line to another device from the dashboard for free.

The page loads slowly. Signal at the device sets the speed: 4G LTE typically 20–45 Mbps, 5G 50+ Mbps, depending on carrier signal at the device. Undetectable.io adds nothing to that. If a line is unusually slow for its class, write to [email protected] or @MobileProxyZoneBot and we will look at the device.

A sensible routine for a day

Morning: open the profile, confirm the address, do the account's normal activity. Midday: close the profile, rotate if the next task is unrelated, reopen. Evening: close the profile and decide whether the line renews. If the profile is going to live for weeks, switch the line to a week or a month from the dashboard; the device and the address pool stay the same, so the profile sees no change at all.

Follow the rules of whatever platform the profile is used on, and only run accounts you are entitled to run. Undetectable.io gives you separation; the carrier line gives you a real mobile identity; neither one is a licence to break a site's terms.

Frequently asked

Should the profile use HTTP or SOCKS5 for a carrier line?

Either works with the same login. SOCKS5 covers more of the browser's traffic, including UDP, so we suggest it in Undetectable.io unless a specific extension needs HTTP.

Can I put the rotation link into Undetectable.io itself?

Some releases have a field for a change-IP link in the proxy settings. If yours does, paste the rotation link there and use it between tasks. If not, rotate from the dashboard or from a script; the effect is the same.

Does moving the line to another city require a new profile?

No. Move the line in the dashboard, then let the profile pick up the new time zone and geolocation from the new address. If the account has a strong history in the old city, though, think twice before moving it.

Can I test the pairing before buying a day?

Yes, with the hourly test at $2 for the first two hours. It uses the same kind of device and the same login shape, so what works on the test works on the day pass.

USA mobile proxies on hardware we own

Real 4G and 5G carrier IPs in eight US metros, with unlimited rotation, sticky sessions and HTTP(S) or SOCKS5. Try a line by the hour from $2 for the first two hours, or take a full day from $4; the hours you paid count toward the day.
